The power within
The assignment was for us students to be pushed to the limit of writing so that people can relate to them. We went through a lot of editing with our peers and great feed back from a professional writer, Julie and our Humanities teacher Henry Maxfield. We had several nights to perform our story to the public at the industry and it was amazing.
Drafting
It was hard for me to come up with my story because I had two choices. My choices was to talk about my karate experience or my little sister. As I wrote about my karate experience Mr. Max told me that it didn't really show how I gained my power. Once I wrote about my little sister Mr. Max said to me "Perfect! that's what you should write about." It was interesting to write multiple drafts of our story because you get to see how much you can change your story with the help of your peers and professional writes.

Critique
The critique process was very useful. It was useful because it go us to be pushed to make our best work that we have ever done. Getting critiqued many times is important because you get to hear other peoples ideas and with the ideas they give you thats how you make your story your best work.
