I made a meaningful contribution to my mentor and class by helping sort out kids homework. classwork, help them with their high frequency words, how to spell words, and read a story to the kids for my project. It's honestly sad to leave the kids for the summer, but I'll visit again once their 1st graders. For me helping m students everyday was an honor to help them learn new words, spell them correctly, and get them to become more confident with them self instead of depending on me or Mrs. Espinoza (their teacher). It meant a lot to me that I helped the kids learn things that I learned a long time ago. It was nice that my kids listened and respected me. When I first came to the class, there was a student named Vaylee and she was a very unique student, meaning she is smart but not very confident in herself. She knew how to spell the words but was always hesitant on how she could spell the word. By the 2nd and 3rd week she was becoming more confident in herself and I felt happy that I helped her develop that skill.
